A Day at the Beach

I'm longing for one of those, so I thought I'd post a photo of my mom and my grandpa and three of my brothers and me when I was a child. Of course everything was easy and simpler back then. My brothers and I often speak of how we took the beach and the water and the comfort of that life for granted. None of us ever expected to leave--but you know how living works!

However, I'm going back to that place I love so much in my mind today, and I thought I'd take the blog along!

I love to go back to days of my childhood and especially now that I am losing my daughters as they are grown. But will they have as fond as memories as I had hoped, I don't know. Yet the picture on your site brought back memories of when we lived in Bay City, Texas and there was only oldest as well as when we lived in Michigan for one summer. God Bless.

Jane, sorry I've been so long answering. I was on vacation without Internet access. I know what you mean about losing the little ones who grow into adults. That's just not an easy process. I'm glad my beach reminded you of yours! We'll just have to visit them when we can--like our memories!
