Late to the Post

I could not talk my sweet child into getting me off the hook, luncheon-wise, and I'm glad. It was good to see old friends and catch up. I won a candy dish at the giveaway, and now that I'm back in town, the girl and I are in the coffee shop. She's catching up on The Office, and I'm catching up on work. (And looking kind of crazy!)

I still have so much to do, but I'm happy!

That look in your eyes looks a little familiar.....

I left it up there for you, my sweet cousin-who's-more-a-beloved-sister!

Even though you mock me for my crazy eyes! :-)

Did your boy tell you he's got a fine pot of Earl Gray waiting for my girl, the tea party enforcer? She and I both cackled so enthusiastically there may be another eating establishment off-limits to our family!

Has my boy contacted your girl? I'm always the last to know.

He did contact her on Facebook. I'm glad--and she's only the tiniest bit ashamed that he still remembers being forced to have tea when they were three years old! :-)
